Close to Home was founded by lifelong friends Michele Coticchio and Lisa Feltrinelli, who together bring more than 25 years of South Florida living experience and decades of combined professional background in property management, real estate, and construction.
After years of seeing homeowners struggle with inconsistent service providers, unclear communication, and unresolved problems while away, they recognized the need for something better — a service built on accountability, knowledge, and genuine care.

Lisa Feltrinelli
Co-Founder
Lisa brings more than 30 years of real estate experience. She understands property values, construction quality, neighborhood trends, and homeowner expectations.

While we check your property, we are NOT property inspectors. Property inspectors are typically involved in property sales, providing a detailed inspection of the structure, plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning systems. Close to Home provides a visual inspection of your home or property, looking for obvious issues.
Can you help me with home maintenance services?
While we do not provide home maintenance services, we can refer you to quality contractors or vendors and coordinate access to your property.
Are your services expensive?
We think our services are reasonably priced for the value we provide. When you compare the potential damage from leaks, pests, or vagrants with the cost, our services are an excellent value. We will be happy to discuss our pricing for home watch services and any additional services you may require at a free consultation.
